Either way, if you haven’t tried adding melted chocolate and rice cereal together, you are missing out my friend. This stuff is PURE GOLD. So how do you take that perfect combination and make the ultimate treat?

Add peanut butter of course! So now we’ve got a sweet, salty, crunchy treat. And there was only one more way to make these bars even better. And that was by adding an Oreo crust. #heaven

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt from American baking, it’s to never limit cereal to just breakfast. Cereal is an all-day thing and that includes dessert! Did you catch myFroot Loop Cake last week?

Absolutely! You might need to get a touch more butter – just add it until the biscuits are soft and moist and can hold their shape when pressed.

I was excited to try, but the Oreo cookie crust separated from the top layer leaving a mess. Good flavor but. Or what I expected to happen.

Hi JP, sorry to hear that. It sounds like the chocolate may have started to set before it was spread properly over the Oreo crust. You really need to work fast here. Alternatively, try adding a little extra chocolate next time!
