My kids saw me making whipped coffee and keto dalgona coffee and gave me the sad face. They told me that I was making all these fun drinks for myself so they wanted one to. Bring on whipped hot chocolate! While we love this drink the way it is you can change things up!
If you want to get even more fun and fancier with this chocolate drink you can add toppings like sprinkles, homemade whipped cream, chocolate candy chunks and marshmallows!
Best Milk for making Whipped Hot Chocolate
The great thing about making whipped hot chocolate is that you can use whatever milk you want to. Whatever your go to milk is that is what you will want to use as the base of this whipped chocolate drink recipe.
Best way to Whip
I personally prefer to use a hand mixer, however you can also use a stand mixer, a whisk, a hand frother or by hand with a fork or spoon. Some of them will take a bit longer to get everything whipped together the way you want it.
Personally I would opt for using a whisk over a fork or spoon because that will take about 20 minutes of whipping and that would be a long time and your arm would be rather sore after the fact.

- Powdered hot chocolate mix
- heavy cream
- milk
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Chocolate sprinkles (optional)
How to Make Whipped Hot Chocolate Recipe
In a medium sized mixing bowl whip together the heavy cream and hot chocolate mix using a whisk or mixer until it has the consistency of whipped cream.
Heat your milk in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes until it is hot.
Top the milk with the whipped hot chocolate, top with chocolate sprinkles if desired.
Stir and enjoy.
How to Make Whipped Iced Hot Chocolate
In a medium sized mixing bowl whip together the heavy cream and hot chocolate mix using a whisk or mixer until it has the consistency of whipped cream.
In a tall glass add cup of milk and ice cubes.
Spoon the whipped chocolate on top of the milk.
Stir the chocolate with the milk to enjoy.

- 5 tablespoons heavy cream
- 6 ounces milk
